Meet Prince:
Prince was brought in from the Finch and Yonge area where he had been seen for at least 3 years and finally went in the trap a concerned resident had put out in her backyard. He was and continues still to be scared and will swipe if you approach to suddenly.
We socialize with him as much as possible, given time we hope he will learn to trust. Unfortunately, we do not know all of what Prince has went though, he had lived outside for many years before coming to the NTCR having to search for food and hide when ever there was a chance of danger.
With lots of understanding, patience, time and TLC Prince may learn that he doesn't have to fight for food, or strike when he is approached.
He hangs out with other cats and can often be found snuggled on the couch or on a shelf with one of his room mates. If you feel you can give Prince the extra time, patience and understanding that he will require and would like to have him become part of your family and give him his furever home please fill out an adoption form and contact us.
